Base4 is a company based in Cambridge UK, collaborating strongly with the NanoPhotonics Centre in the University of Cambridge, developing platforms for high-speed single molecule detection for healthcare and the life sciences.

We are seeking motivated postdoctoral physicists and engineers with experience in solid state nanofabrication including electron beam lithography, focussed ion beam milling, and chemical etching. Experience in optical spectroscopy and photoluminescence would also be an advantage. Research and Development will take place together with the NanoPhotonics Centre.
